Haven't blogged in a while thought I'd post a little update. I had food poisoning yesterday and I still feel like complete crap! I am sore from head to toe. Ow!! On the brighter side I got 8 hours of straight sleep until AMTV played Owl City and woke me up. Imagine that! LOL! Anyway I have school today, BLAH! I'll blog again soon, I hope! --Laura

Algebra 2 makes my head spin...LITERALLY.

Today was crazy. I went to school feeling absolutely fine for a change. We had a big presentation in 2nd hour for U.S. History which I didn't even end up doing because we ran out of time and everything was going great. 3rd hour rolls around and so does my head. I got so insanely light-headed I thought I was going to pass out. I had to practically lean on Keith to stand up while I was talking to him. I became flushed and started to sweat which started to concern me. I got my mom to pick me up early (YAY). After eating I felt better and laid down and texted Keith and Josh the whole afternoon. 2:30pm I went to work (EW) and now I am sitting in my room blasting music!

After dinner I will hopefully get to the bookstore to buy Vampire Kisses: The Manga Volume 3!

I smile on the outside like a mask but on the inside I am really sad. Has to be one of the truest pictures I have ever taken in my life!

Pot-head? Really?

Okay the other day in class we were talking about what drugs everyone does or has tried. I was kind of stuck in the middle of it so I didn't have a choice but to be asked a couple times. Everyone said they've done pot, hookah, smoked at least one cigarette, and they drink all the time! Me on the other hand has never smoked a thing in her life (HONEST) and I only drink when my parents are around and maybe one if I finish it. One of my classmates asked the circle of kids "Have you ever smoked pot", every single one of them said yes at least once if not regularly. They turned me expecting an answer and I replied, "not ever, I don't want to, I barely even knew what weed looked like until last year". Everyone laughed and the kid who asked the question looked straight into my eyes and said "I don't believe that". I naturally asked "why not?!". His response, "You look like a frikkin' Hippie there is no way."

Alright, I know I have some Hippie like qualities to me but do I seriously look like a pot-head?

Yom Kippur

Today, September 28, 2009, is the Jewish holiday Yom Kippur. For 24 hours the Jewish people are supposed to fast and basically lay in bed all day because everything else is forbidden. I decided to not take part in this holiday, again, this year because I don't see the point in it. I like eating too much and since my family doesn't really practice the religion that much I decided there is no point. Sadly, many of my friends are Jewish and they are either at Temple or at home with no access to phones or computers. We also have no school today so I will be sitting home all day eating and getting fat. JOY! 

My history teacher gave me massive amounts of HW which I think is unfair especially to those who are participating in the holiday. We aren't allowed to do it! But I am sure if I walked into class tomorrow and said "Oh I couldn't do it, I was at Temple all day" my teacher could care LESS. 

Whatever, I am going to start some U.S. History before I run out of time. Hopes everyone has a wonderful Yom Kippur, maybe I'll bring brownies to school so you can eat away xD.
